In this case, our customer was a global real estate services and management company. The customer managed a 211,000 square foot industrial property and used a billing agent to coordinate sub-billing of their accounts. Ecore was hired to overview the work of the billing agent. We identified inefficient utility use, inaccurate charges, and assisted in integrating changes through tenant sub-billing. We were initially hired by the tenant who suspected errors and subsequently we were hired by the management company to further pursue these billing issues. The combined results of the 2 engagements was a refund recovery of $60,000 (past over charges) and an ongoing savings of $25,000 annually.
